True story from last weeks Mini's Tour :
JC was sharing a room with Paul Copperwheat and after a few ales, he retired to be and the last words he said before snoring were, "I love Witney Rugby Club".

Editors Comment:
My first memories of JC was when he first joined the club and said he liked a beer after the match. Being a typical northern lad he soon let us know he could drink any southerners under the table. He started on the "moorlumps" and after a few beers at the club, we wandered into town. The fresh air hit JC and he decided to "air" his legs as we walked down to the chippy (just after 6pm !). He decided the beer was a bit stronger down here than he thought and renamed it, "mental juice". That was the start of many good nights out and with JC there is always lots of banter and a hangover guaranteed. On the pitch, you'll never find a more committed player and he never gives an inch but is as fair as they come both off the pitch and on it. If you had 15 JC's on the pitch each week, you wouldn't go far wrong and you certainly wouldn't lack effort or heart."
