| Match Day Superstitions | "I like the whole team to go out on the pitch as a unit. It's worth five points." |
| Most Admired International Player |
"At my age I have seen so many greats but it has to be Tony Neary ex England and Broughton Park. He was every thing a back row man should be, fast strong, fearless, never ever stopped running. Also enjoyed life off the field. Shame he was last heard of detained at Her Majesty's pleasure." Most Admired Witney Player |
| Favourite Rugby Tour | "Cornwall 1990. First match I played for Witney at Bodmin. I got me back into the game after a long break. The downside was sharing a room with Chris Delaney and Keith Sykes!." |
| Most Embarrassing moment on the Pitch | Long before I came to Witney. Throwing myself over the line thinking I had got the match winner only to find it was a newly installed drainage line three feet from the real try line. |
| Most Embarrasing moment off the Pitch | During the first Dublin tour I had bowel trouble in a public car park in Temple Bar. Everybody ran away and pretended they did not know me |
| Best Match for Witney | Not one I played in. Third team 1999/200 we put over fifty points on Bicester at Witney after they had broken an agreement over replacements when we had played them earlier in the season at Bicester. It gave me a lot of pleasure that one! |
| Worst Match for Witney | Under the floodlights at Banbury two years ago against Gosford. It dawned on me that I was past it and should pack up. |
| How to improve training | It is each player's responsibility to be fit. I have always believed that if you want to be any good you need to train in between Club sessions by yourself or whatever. |
| Remaining Rugby Ambitions | I want to see Witney progress as far as we can as a Club but not to lose the atmosphere we have created. We somehow need to recruit more players and perhaps more importantly more experienced off field people. |
