"I've had loads. The one that really sticks in my memory is from a few years ago when I went to a posh wedding. I was sitting with people I didn't know and trying to be discreet, I called the waitress over. I explained I was sorry to complain but that my ham was not properly cooked. She then told me that it wasn't ham but smoked salmon and it was supposed to be raw ! Everyone cracked up laughing, I was so embarrassed." |
