Best Match for Witney “Really enjoyed the Buckingham Tournament when we lost in the Final but I won my first rugby medal”
Worst Match for Witney “Against Thanet”
EDITORS COMMENT – Hardly worth bothering with this category for the Angels as its always those lovely Thanet girls.
How to improve training “I would like to thank Matt and Norm for their dedication to training us but without more girls turning up to train properly, it is alwys going to be difficult. So if you know anyone willing to play – let me know “ “Also, thanks to Shane and Mark for helping out, also thanks to the lovely Mike Minch for his support at all the matches”.
Remaining Rugby Ambitions “To continue playing without any major injuries and to go out on the pitch this season with a full XV and win !”
Miscellaneous

“I would like to thank all the players that are dedicated to the team and who turn up each week at training” “Also, special thanks to Mary for all her fundraising ideas and after match games. Lisa for being treasurer, Sarah for all the sponsorship money and Heidi for all her typing, arranging of events, card making and reminding us all of what is going on and when”

Players Comment
“Also, she has been known to dance with bench table umbrellas when pissed and to line up for a stud check when she has had astro boots on!!! Very often called the old woman of the team but we would be lost without her.”

Editors Comment
Catherine is a great competitor and loves to win, even at touch rugby she hates giving away a try and gives her all for her team. A naturally gifted jumper in the lineout, she also possesses a fine rugby brain and can never ever be accused of giving less than everything for the Angels. I had the pleasure of coaching the Angels in that Buckingham Tournament and it was Catherine who set the example and the other girls raised their games accordingly. It goes down as one of my best rugby moments too. Great lass but not sure about that age though !
